The first race of the season starts today at approximately 10:15 a.m. The short course is 5 miles and starts at Kihei Canoe Club. The long course for this canoe, kayak and stand-up paddle opener is 8 miles, begins from Haycraft Beach Park in Ma’alaea. The finish line is at Sarento’s Restaurant along beautiful Keawakapu Beach.
If you can’t make it down to the start, you can view the racers take off from our sponsored oceanfront webcam at Sugar Beach. If you are interested observing the finish of the race, Island Sotheby’s International Realty, hosts a beachfront webcam outside Sarento’s Restaurant.
