Patricia "Patty" Chaney

Patty's knowledge of Maui real estate has made her a leader in her field. Her clients and peers enjoy working with her as she offers a keen attention to detail, sensible knowledge in negotiating, stellar marketing skills and provides a terrific level of communication with everyone involved in a transaction.
As a kama'aina, born and raised in Hawai'i, she has a heightened understanding of the Island's rich diversity. A 2nd generation Realtor, Patty first worked under the tutelage of her uncle, the late Aaron M. Chaney of Chaney, Brooks & Company. A graduate of Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA (1977) with a degree in Fine Arts (BFA) and an Elementary Education Certification, she returned to the Islands after living in Seattle, WA for several years.
Patty has actively served the Realtor's Association of Maui (RAM) in the following committees: 2002 Board of Directors, 2002 Public Relations/Realtor Journal, 2003 Board of Directors, 2003 Public Relations/Realtor Journal, 2004 Habitat For Humanity, 2004 Public Relations/Realtor Journal, 2004 Presidential Scholarship Review, 2005 Board of Directors, 2005 Executive, 2005 Public Relations/Realtor Journal, 2005 Presidential Scholarship Review, 2006 Board of Directors, 2006 Presidential Scholarship Review, 2007 Board of Directors, 2008 Board of Directors, 2009 - 2015 Professional Standards/Arbitration.
In 2005, the Realtors Association of Maui presented their Special Recognition of the Year - Kahiau Award (Community Service) to Patty for her commitment in serving as a liaison for RAM and Habitat for Humanity Maui and the Maui Food Bank. Currently, Patty sits as Vice President for Habitat for Humanity Maui.
In her leisure time, Patty enjoys a variety of ocean sports and outdoor activities and Plein Air oil painting.
